This is an ONS-only event, for staff on the Census Transformation Programme.

Description: 2 hour session which introduces the key principles of quality management, quality assurance and quality control.

Learning outcomes: By the end of the course and in the context of the programme, participants will understand:

• What quality is
• Why it is important
• How we can achieve this

Target audience: All staff within the CTP are expected to complete this course before April 2018. More than 60 CTP colleagues in a wide range of roles have attended this course since it was launched in May and feedback has been very positive.

Which course should I book onto? Please ensure you have been in your role for 12 weeks before attending the course - in order to maximise the benefit.

Course format: We aim to make these courses fun and interactive, sometimes there are simple activities involved, e.g. swapping seats, taking part in quizzes online etc.

If you need any type of workplace adjustment or have any additional needs and require assistance in order to fully participate in these activities, please let the organiser know in advance; trainers will contact you to ensure you can get full benefit from the course.

All delegates should bring an internet-enabled device to enable participation in quizzes.
