Improving Your Networking Skills - by GuideDotYou Connect and Learn
Are your current networking activities meeting your expectations? If they aren't or if you would benefit from making your networking performance even better this event is for you!
Part of our "Improving Your Networking Skills Programme", this is a standalone event where we will focus on:
- our usual mix of structured and informal networking opportunities;
- considering the effectiveness of delegates’ current networking activities, and;
- introducing AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) as a networking tool.
You will have the opportunity to introduce your organisation to everyone else who attends, so everyone in the room knows who everyone else is. Please arrive prepared to speak to everyone in the room for one minute in a structured format.
During the workshop you will have the opportunity, with your peers, to evaluate your current networking activities, both online and offline, considering how effective they are and whether any changes are needed.
We will also have some time to consider how the AIDA model can help your networking. AIDA is widely used in marketing and advertising to describe the steps or stages that occur from the time when a consumer first becomes aware of a product or brand through to when the consumer trials a product or makes a purchase decision.
We will also let you know about our "Improving Your Networking Skills" programme, that includes events and coaching available to you.

2.45pm - Introduction To AIDA
3.15pm - One to One (have ten minute conversations with two people you have met at the event)
