In Conversation with Nursing Pioneers: Going Digital

By Royal College of Nursing Library and Museum
Online event

Overview

Join us for an online talk exploring the pioneering achievements in digital nursing.

Ever since Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole, nurses have blazed a trail in healthcare. They have pioneered improvements in practice, carried out cutting-edge research and advanced education. This event brings together a panel of RCN Fellows to explore pioneering developments in nursing and health care that are making use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the other digital technologies that have begun to transform our lives in recent years, and to discuss how they might shape the future.

The event will be chaired by Helen Balsdon, Chief Nurse Information Officer, NHS England. Speakers are RCN Fellows Professor Roxanne Crosby-Nwaobi, Professor Bridie Kent and Professor David Thompson.

The RCN recognises innovative nurses by awarding annual Fellowships. The Roll of Honour lists almost 200 RCN Fellows who have made exceptional contributions to advancing the science and practice of nursing and improving health and patient care.
