Chaired by Melanie Daws, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and joined by Elizabeth Gardiner, First Parliamentary Counsel and Claire Moriarty Permanent Secretary at DEFRA. They will be sharing their career stories, challenges and successes.
This event is open to Civil Servants only from any government department.

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2019, volunteers from Women’s & Gender Equality Networks across Whitehall are collaborating together to bring you a series of events to celebrate this year’s campaign theme #balance for better.
We are volunteers from Cabinet Office, DCMS, HMRC, DIT, MOD, HMT and the Fast Stream Women’s and Gender Equality Networks. Our programme of events will offer a mixture of events from informal networking, panel discussions with high profile speakers and market stalls.
