IN THE MAKING: Unlocking Your Creativity

New Art ExchangeNottingham, England
Saturday, Feb 21 from 12 pm to 5 pm GMT
Overview

Free one-day networking and development event designed to support early-career creatives.

Are you an emerging artist, creative entrepreneur, or aspiring creative at the start of your journey? Join us for a one-day networking and development event designed to support early-career creatives.

Led by the women of NAE, the day includes interactive workshops on branding, personal development, and turning ideas into projects, as well as open discussions and opportunities to connect with others in the creative sector.

Gain practical guidance, honest insights, and tools to build confidence, develop your ideas, and take your first steps toward a sustainable creative career – or simply figure out where to start. You’ll also discover more about NAE’s ways of working and the opportunities available within the organisation.

You’ll have the chance to meet some of the women currently working at New Art Exchange, like Olga Andrade, Priya Chopra, Kiesha Gibson and more. Let’s connect and grow together.

Refreshments and snacks provided. Spaces are limited, so please book your space. If you cannot stay for the whole day, you can attend each workshop individually; feel free to drop in when you are available.

+18 only

Access: NAE aims to be accessible to all audiences. You are welcome to call in advance to discuss your access requirements and how NAE can make your visit enjoyable. A lift is in operation; the building is fitted with induction loops for enhanced sound; we have accessible toilets; and disabled parking is available on request. We will have a private prayer space available throughout the day.

The Nottingham City Council has funded this programme through the Create Growth Nottingham grant scheme.
