Inclusion EB8 Open Evening
For young people, parents/carers & professionals who would like to find out more about our specialist post-16 employability pathways.
Inclusion EB8 is holding an Open Evening for young people, parents/carers and professionals who would like to find out more about our specialist post-16 employability and personal development pathway.
EB8 is designed for young people with an EHCP who would benefit from a more personalised, supportive and employment-focused approach to education. Our programme supports young people to build confidence, independence, employability skills, personal and social development, and readiness for their next steps.
At EB8, young people work in small groups with a skilled and caring team. The programme includes employability & personal and social development qualifications, work experience, volunteering, workplace visits, employer engagement, financial education, mental health and wellbeing support, independent careers guidance, trips, workshops and preparation for adulthood.
EB8 is intentionally designed to feel different from mainstream education, while still providing a structured, ambitious and purposeful study programme. We support young people to explore pathways into employment, further education, apprenticeships, supported internships, volunteering, adult services and wider independence.
We currently have spaces available for September and would welcome families and young people who would like to learn more about whether EB8 could be the right next step.
Please book one place per family/ group and not per person for a 45 min visit slot.
