This is an introduction to Indian Block Printing; it really is quite easy to do and creates fabulous results. They can be used on fabrics, papers, clothes and much more. You will be using genuine Indian blocks, some of which Mel has designed and hand carved in India. You will be shown the tips and tricks to get the best prints from your wooden blocks and examples of what you can do with them after.


This one-off class is 2 hours.

At the North Cambridgeshire Training Centre we pride ourselves on having a friendly team that are welcoming and ready to support you. Our sessions are led by an experienced, supportive tutor that will help you to be successful!

Please note we run all our courses based on a minimum number of participants.

If you are no longer able to attend the class, please contact the team at your earliest convenience. Cancellations received within 10 days of the class start time are non-refundable.

Meet your tutor

We’re delighted to work with renowned British Textile Artist and Mel Missin of Melly Made Designs, she brings over 45 years of experience working with textiles, and brings colourful joy to all of her sessions. She’s a textile and mixed media specialist for all abilities and trains groups all around the country and beyond. She will be joining us Monday Evenings
