Induction Tutor Briefing

This briefing is to help you understand your role and responsibilities as your school's induction tutor. We will explain the statutory requirements around the process of registering your ECTs on the DfE and also with the Appropriate Body service.

Guidance will be provided on what other requiremetns there are of you throughout the academic year, what support is available to you and your school. We will also help you understand more about how you can proactively support ECTs and mentors throughout thier induciton period.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and hear how other induction tutors manage to fulfill their role in school.
