IndyLan - Mobile Virtual Learning for Indigenous Languages
App launch for all languages and performance

<p>Our EU-funded project, <a href="http://indylan.eu/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IndyLan</a>, has developed an educational tool for learning some of Europe’s endangered languages and the cultures of their speakers. The IndyLan app is designed to help speakers of English, Spanish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish to learn Gaelic, Scots, Cornish, Basque, Galician and Northern Sámi. These languages are <a href="https://www.europarl.europa.eu/RegData/etudes/note/join/2013/495851/IPOL-CULT_NT(2013)495851_EN.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">all endangered at different degrees</a>.The Final Dissemination event marks the formal launch of the app for all languages. We will begin with a presentation of the project and its outputs, and then we will demonstrate how the app works for all languages. The discussion and Q&A will be followed by performances by acclaimed artists in  Gaelic, Scots, Cornish, Basque, Galician and Northern Sámi</p><p>We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 27st January on Zoom at 17:00 UK time!</p>
