A chance to meet the BRAID team and hear more about the Creative Commissions funding opportunity.
We are excited to commission approximately seven UK-based creatives to develop artefacts and interventions in any media that explore Responsible AI in practice. The commissions will be presented as part of the Edinburgh Festivals in August 2027.
We’re calling this series of commissions A Promise in Return. The title draws on the history of the word ‘responsibility’. If we take the word back to its roots, the idea of being responsible is not merely to carry a burden, but to enter into a relationship, to recognise that the world addresses us and that we answer though our actions.
Join us online on Thursday 24 September to discover more about the call and ask questions to support the development of your application. A recording will also be available online after the session.
