Description

Are you a community business based in Bristol that would benefit from £10k grant funding and support with growing the business?

Then the Community Business Challenge has been created to help you! Join us at this INFORMATION AND SUPPORT session to learn more about the programme in Bristol. We will share details of how the challenge works, key timelines as well as be on hand to help with the application process and provide feedback or guidance where required.

Bristol has some brilliant community businesses making a real impact - we want to bring you together through this challenge to create a movement that can help and support each other, as well as educate the wider community about your work and impact.

More about the Community Business Challenge:

Marks & Spencer and Power to Change are working together across England to help support thriving local economies through community business. The Community Business Challenge started in Liverpool in 2018 followed by Plymouth in 2019 and is now launching in Bristol and Bradford.

Community businesses can apply for a package of business skills support provided from M&S across all disciplines of retail – from visual merchandising, to supply chain management, to finance.

Shortlisted applicants will also be guaranteed a slice of a £50,000 funding pot - up to £10,000

The School for Social Entrepreneurs are supporting this challenge by unearthing local community businesses in Bristol and supporting their applications.
