Ink Drawing Workshop

Tim Ridley has been a practicing fine artist for 10 years, his work concentrates on the human/animal relationship, using drawing, painting, sculpture, film and performance. He graduated from Chelsea college of Art & Design in 2010. He lives in Penzance and has been vegan for 30 years, all his work is made with the minimal use of resources and uses no animal products. Please note that due to the coronavirus outbreak this event will be postponed until a date in May, as yet to be confirmed  You will learn how to make organic lnks from Oak galls, soot and Bideford black.
 
We will make drawings from reference images provided.
 
There will be a demonstration of painting/drawing technique.
 
Paper inks and brushes provided, but please do bring your own if you prefer.
 
The paper we use will not be archival or pure white so if you want longevity please bring a water colour type paper.
 
All abilities are welcome and I will guide you through the drawing process as needed.

If you need your own space we can spread out within the room.

Refreshments included, I wish to create a positive space and time in which you can draw and relax.
