This event is different from our regular Innerdance journeys, as we will journey through a soundscape of delta and theta waves, supporting you to enter a state of inner peace and calmness.

During this journey, Connie and Rachel help you to regulate your nervous system through gentle touch and energy work. Sit back and relax allowing yourself to feel fully held and witnessed in your relaxation.

This journey will take place in a cozy cave of salt at Edinburgh Salt Rooms. You will relax in comfortable seats as you experience the powerful benefits of salt therapy.

Let the sounds melt away any stress and tension you are holding in your body and leave this event feeling relaxed and rejuvinated.

What is Salt Therapy?

All you need to do is sit back, relax and breathe naturally. Salt therapy involves dispersing dry salt in high concentrations into a salt room whose surfaces are also layered with salt. These tiny salt micro-particles are inhaled and penetrate into the body to help relieve congestion, inflammation and skin irritations.

✨Please bring water it's important to stay hydrated.
✨Wear loose-fitting or comfy clothes, Darker colours tend to show residue from the salt but will easily wash off.
✨You may wish to bring a journal to take notes afterward.
✨Seating, eye masks and blankets will all be provided but please bring anything else you need to make yourself comfortable.

Pregnancy - Salt therapy is only recommended to women who are past the first trimester of pregnancy. Salt can help boost your immune system and reduce stress. Delta and Theta waves are perfect for during pregnancy to help reduce stress in mothers, making this a great option for mothers to be.
