Steinbeis 2i GmbH

How can SMEs be supported in the adaptation of additive manufacturing?
Good practices from Baden-Württemberg, Italy and Sweden.

Under the impression of the current pandemic, it is becoming increasingly important for manufacturing companies and especially SMEs to quickly implement new technologies in their own companies in order to react quickly and flexibly to the rapidly changing conditions and thus strengthen their own "resilience".As part of the EU Commission-funded project InnoAdditive, Steinbeis 2i GmbH, together with partners from Italy and Sweden, analyzed the role of public prototyping facilities and how they should be managed. They also looked at what role actors from research and education play and how open innovation can be promoted.
