Innovation Strategies for System level transformation:
Workshop 3. Looking forward: learnings and recommendations

Across Europe there is growing interest in transformative innovation policies and how they can drive change and improved performance (economic and wider social/ environmental). These can be sector-based, geography-based, or mission-based innovation policies.

Following on the recent launch of the Scottish Government’s National Innovation Strategy, we are organising collaborative and interactive workshops to discuss the challenges in achieving transformation through innovation policies.

We'll focus on designing suitable interventions, mobilising stakeholders, optimising implementation approaches, and effectively evidencing success.

Join a series of interlinked workshops where you'll have the opportunity to share perspectives, learn from others, and co-design solutions to pressing challenges.

Topics include:

  • From Innovation Centres to Innovation Infrastructure: learning from SFCs Innovation Centre programme
  • Vision Denmark: Creative Technology Cluster for Visual Storytelling and Entertainment
  • Net Zero Industry Cluster Exchange (NICE): International Collaborations for Green Transitions
  • Can Do Challenge: Innovative Solutions for Mission-Based Challenges

We invite policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to participate actively in shaping the future of innovation policy. Your experience and insights are invaluable in driving meaningful change.

In Workshop 3 we will synthesise the learnings to identify commonalities and differences, best practice, gaps in knowledge and opportunities for future collaboration

Lunch and refreshments will be provided during the workshop.
