About this Event

Manchester NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and Translation Manchester Innovator Training Programme Launch - 'Essentials for Innovation and Industry Engagement'

The aim of this programme is to: equip and inspire researchers, to explore and develop routes to clinical impact with industry partners, to innovate and exploit their research to drive patient benefits.

Innovator Training Scheme Launch event: Essentials for Innovation across the Translational Pipeline.

Summary: This session will be used to set the scene, launch the Innovator Training Series and showcase support available across the GM ecosystem for entrepreneurship and commercialisation of health research.

Learning Objectives:

1. What is the translational pipeline?

2. Why is innovation important for you and the region?

3. Introduction to key support and funding available to explore innovation across academic and clinical sectors in GM.

Audience: Staff and students engaged in or supporting all P4 medicine research affiliated with the BRC, CRF, The University of Manchester, and/or across Health Innovation Manchester and the Translation Manchester pipeline.
