About this event

  • 4 hours 30 minutes

So many are connected with the law, writing and Legal London. Dickens of course, closely followed by Shakespeare, but also Goldsmith, Mortimer, McEwan, Trollope and CJ Sansom, to name just a few. Even Max Mosley can be given an appearance. So dust off the briefs, robe up appropriately, and join London Historians Member, tour guide and former City law firm managing partner Colin Davey, for a literary romp around the Inns of Court and surrounding area.

We start promptly at 11am by Chancery Lane tube station (exact location after booking). 45 minute or so lunch break* towards the top of Kingsway, and then a shorter afternoon stretch, so finish by 3.30pm at a pub (where else?) near to the Royal Courts of Justice. The entire tour time excluding break is 3.5 - 4 hours.

London Historians members only. (for the moment). Join London Historians.

* N.B. Lunch not included in the overall price.
