Insect ID workshop

SoundCamp is a London based arts collective founded in December 2013.We do place based research on environmental, social and personal ecologies and their intersections. We work with live audio streaming to bring dispersed locations together in real time, shifting perceptions of place, time and species. Since May 2014 we have produced Reveil: a 24 hour daybreak broadcdast on International Dawn Chorus Day, and organised the annual soundcamp events. With others we contribute open source technical solutions, research and commentary to the Live Audio Archive.SoundCamp is supported in 2016 by B3 Media, Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England, Southwark Neighbourhoods, and local funders.

Field workshop with entomologist Mike Fray and soundCamp.
All welcome - beginners to advanced. Bring a picnic.
Organised by SoundCamp in partnership with Stave Hill Ecological Park, as part of a year's activities marking 30 years of urban ecology at Stave Hill in Docklands. Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England and local funders.
