5 Essex Chambers is delighted to invite you to ‘Inside Five’, an in person open evening designed to give you an insight into the pupillage process and life at a top set.

The event will be held on 1 December in Chambers at Gray's Inn, London. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Inside Five will give you a unique insight into life as a pupil barrister at 5 Essex Chambers and what it is like working in our areas of practice. The panel of speakers will include:
- Beatrice Collier (a senior member of the Pupillage Committee)
- a recent pupil to share their perspectives on pupillage at 5 Essex and transitioning into tenancy
- an established junior to discuss the areas of work for early-years tenants, as well as work-life balance
- a senior-junior with experience assessing pupillage application forms and interviews, who will offer tips on how to succeed in a pupillage application
After the presentations, attendees will be able to ask questions of this range of members.
As spaces are limited, a waiting list will be available once tickets have sold out. A link to join will be provided before the event.
