Inside and Outside

Rushbury Village HallChurch Stretton, England
Sunday, Mar 8 from 10 am to 4 pm GMT
Overview

Join Kate Buttolph, Nancy Lowe and Kathryn Lewis of Caer Connection for a gentle day full of song, somatic yoga and creative writing.

Thanks for your interest in booking a place on our workshop. We’re really looking forward to seeing you there.

We're planning nurturing day with movement, song and creativity, offering a chance to pause and reflect both inside and out – fostering a sense of inner strength and courage and exploring what it means to bring this out into the world. Throughout the day, guided yoga sequences and thought provoking song are drawn together with reflective writing and poetry created as a group to explore our theme. This event is open to everyone and no prior experience is necessary in yoga, singing or writing, just a willingness to give things a go as we share our day together.

Feedback from our previous wellbeing activities:

“I don't think I emphasised enough how much I enjoyed the day. It was lovely and I'm really glad I came.”

"A beautiful and inspired day. The respective offerings of Kate, Kathryn and Nancy gently weaved together to thread us with care through a day of self-reflection and community creation. Thanks to this Therapeutic Trio."

“Each element offered something different which appealed to different senses… Very much enjoyed the morning”

“I valued… Time to be me and to breathe. Time to be outdoors and calm. Time to spend with others. Time to reflect.”

What to bring:

Please bring some provisions for our picnic lunch. We will supply tea, coffee, herbal tea and juice. We will supply cow's milk but if you have dietary restrictions please feel free to bring an alternative, or contact us and we will do our best to provide what you need.

If you have them, please also bring a yoga mat and blanket. We will have lots of spares, so it’s not a problem if you don’t have either of these things.

If you have favourite pens and notebooks for writing please feel free to bring your own but we will supply some too.

Music will be taught by ear primarily, but there will be lyrics and dots available for people who are more at ease with visual learning.

Wet weather provision:

If slightly wet weather is forecast, we would still like to take advantage of our beautiful natural surroundings during the workshop. So please bring wet weather gear and footwear suitable for walking over grass.

If torrential rain and gales are forecast, we’ll stay indoors! Thankfully we have the use of a really big hall, with full windows looking out over green spaces.

We look forward to seeing you soon,

Best wishes,

Kate, Nancy and Kathryn
