About this event
Our human anatomists are some of the UK's leading experts, with over 15 years experience in cadaveric dissection and delivering events to almost 1 in 7 of the NHS workforce the team have been trusted by over 40 universities, 12 NHS Trusts and the Home Office to deliver hands on anatomy training. We are the only provider of this kind of training experience in the world.
The team have a combined experience of over 100+ real cadaveric dissections and have featured on both the BBC & Discovery Channel.
The event uses state of the art synthetic bodies skilfully prepared with porcine organ anatomy which is dissected out methodically using the same processes followed in a cadaveric dissection. You will work through the process lead by our expert while also dissecting your own organ specimens to enhance your knowledge of anatomy & physiology. Of course as we go through the procedure we will visit each organ structure in turn examining it carefully and linking back to common pathologies.
When surveyed, 8 out of 10 healthcare professionals stated that after participating, they felt more confident practitioners after being able to see, touch and feel real organ specimens.
All participants receive a 3 hour CPD certificate for taking part, a great aid for revalidation. Events operate on campus at universities UK wide. Search below to find an event at your university.
