About the Event
Supporting research output at your institution  What is involved in the production of a journal article?  What impact is open access having on author publication choices?  How are journal articles promoted to increase readership?
We will provide invaluable insight into each stage of academic research publication, allowing you to better support your library users. Our sales and customer service teams work closely with our library customers on a regular basis, but what does a ‘day in the life of…’ look like for other areas of the business? This event will shine a light on what goes on ‘behind the scenes’ at Taylor &amp; Francis. The evolving role of the librarian demands that more of their time and resources are dedicated to supporting an institution’s research output. These lively sessions from industry experts will provide an overview of the research publishing cycle from start to finish, allowing you to better understand and support your researchers and faculty staff in the research journey. The advancements of digitisation has led to increased accessibility of primary resources in academic research, and open access is having a significant impact on the publication and accessibility of that research: we will address both of these topics after lunch, and discuss how Taylor &amp; Francis is responding to these industry developments.

In 1891, St Bride Foundation was established to provide a social, cultural and recreational centre for London's Fleet Street and its burgeoning print and publishing trade.
