Saved them all to come back to but then never did?Know you should be making moves towards making your main marketing channel accessible but just don&#x27;t know how?I&#x27;ve got you.Join me, <a href="https://instagram.com/katcuthbert" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Kat Cuthbert</a>, Accessibility Mentor to creative online businesses, as I walk you through the basics of getting your Instagram set up to accommodate your whole audience and ensure everyone can access your impact.Because after all, Instagram is the entrance to your business - you need to make sure everyone can get in the door.You&#x27;ll learn:<ul><li>Why you need to make your business Instagram accessible;</li><li>The basics of disability, accessibility and the Instagram app;</li><li>The native accessibility features on Instagram &amp; how to use them;</li><li>What the actual f the difference between alt-text and an image description is;</li><li>Creating accessible, inclusive social media content for Instagram;</li></ul>...and there&#x27;ll be space for questions at the end, so come armed with your juciest niggles!We&#x27;re going for down-to-earth, easy to implement strategies that you can bake into your regular posting schedule (rather than those 67 saved posts, none of which you&#x27;ve looked at yet).And think it&#x27;s not worth it because &quot;none of your audience is disabled&quot;?That&#x27;s because your Instagram isn&#x27;t accessible.Can&#x27;t make it? No worries! You&#x27;ll automatically be sent a recording once the session is over, along with a transcript.The total session time is estimated at 90 minutes, including a 60 minute training and 30 minutes for audience questions.This session will be run online via Zoom and will be recorded. Auto-captioning will be enabled for this session. Attendee cameras will be off and mics muted for the duration of the training, so no need to worry about being on camera. A recording and transcript will be available to all attendees within 72 hours following the session. Please note: there is a small chance that this event will need to be rescheduled. Due to the unpredictable nature of my own disabilities, sometimes I am unable to work with little to no notice. If this happens, you will receive an email from me as soon as I know and I will re-confirm an alternative date with you for the workshop to be held once I am able to do so.
