<h1>Instant Wit</h1><h2>Friday 20th January 2023 - 7.30pm</h2><h3>Instant Wit – a bunch of very Unusual Suspects who are forever on the run from the Comedy Police!</h3>

<h3>Welcome to an evening of songs, gags and general silliness – all of it based around audience suggestions. </h3><p>Maybe you’ve always wanted to hear a medieval madrigal containing lines you might find written in a teenager’s diary or possibly watch a sketch where some ninja cockroaches take over 10 Downing Street? Well, why not? Your wish is our command. But don’t worry, nobody is forced to participate and we even build in a section where anonymous suggestions, written down in the interval, can be acted out. Good suggestions receive flying packets of custard; the best of the evening gets a bottle of wine!</p><p>Many people have seen improvised comedy on the TV – but remember, this is not recorded and edited, but totally live! If you like your comedy fast paced and with a slightly unusual edge, this is definitely for you.</p><p>Instant Wit use some of the best of local talent and squad members include Jon Monie (Aladdin Theatre Royal Bath), Leah Fletcher (Is That a Bolt in Your Neck? National tour with Gonzo Moose), Chris Bianchi (Of Mice and Men Torch Theatre Milford Haven) and Peta Maurice (Rapunzel and Five Children and It Theatre Royal Bath). </p>
