With so many yoga students being women, it’s likely you’ll teach someone who’s pregnant at some point. This workshop is designed to help you feel confident, clear, and inclusive in your approach.
You’ll learn what to do, what to avoid, and how to make simple, effective modifications that empower pregnant students while keeping your class cohesive.

- The benefits of yoga during pregnancy
- Trimester-specific contraindications
- How to modify common poses safely
- Pranayama: what’s supportive vs. what’s not
- Use of props and inclusive language
- Keeping the class flowing for everyone
- Common pregnancy ailments and when to refer on
Note: This training won’t certify you to teach pregnancy-specific yoga classes. It’s designed to help you safely include and support pregnant students in your general teaching.

This workshop is for qualified yoga teachers. Whether you are new to teaching or have been teaching a while this workshop will help you gain the confidence to create an inclusive and welcoming class should one of your students become pregnant.
