'Music rights transparency' is on the spotlight after the recently launched initiatives such as <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.rethink-music.com/report/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rethink Music</A> by BerkleeICE and <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www.imogenheap.com/mycelia/index.html" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mycelia</A> by Imogen Heap. In this Hack-Fest Day we will discuss and present how music reuse enabled by emerging MPEG standards, such as IM AF format for interactive music apps and MVCO ontology for IP rights tracking, driving a shift of power in the music value chain. 
An essential event for music tech start-ups, application developers, researchers and creatives focused on the future of music. In the afternoon of the Hack-Fest day attendees would have the opportunity to code and develop their own music apps using <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://code.soundsoftware.ac.uk/projects/mpegdevelopments/" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IM AF & MVCO</A> APIs.
