Interactive RNLI safety evening

Join our marina team and the Falmouth RNLI Water Safety Team for a fun and informative safety evening at UpperDeck.

The colder months are the perfect time to build on your sea safety knowledge ahead of the busier season.

Join us for a fun and informative safety evening with the Falmouth RNLI Water Safety Team at UpperDeck on Wednesday 18th February from 7pm to 10pm.

The RNLI crew will be sharing advice and running interactive workshops on a range of sea safety topics including:

• Getting a throwline through a lifebelt
• Anchoring theory and problem solving
• Recognising and managing a medical condition at sea
• Knots - what style to use and when
• Lifejacket refresher - finding faults
• Throwlines (if we are allowed)
• Practical calling for help

Plus, remember to bring your lifejackets for a clinic where the crew will teach you how to test them for faults.

The evening will include a break during which our marina team will be handing out free pizza slices. With limited spaces available, book your free slot today.
