The ZERO Institute ECR Network is pleased to invite you to participate in a networking event attended by early career researchers, senior academics, policymakers and industry professionals in the field of net-zero energy transitions. This event launches the Energy Nexus Series, aimed at facilitating interdisciplinary engagement and collaborations at the intersections of energy technology, policy, and finance.Event Details:Date: Monday, 3rd of June 2024Time: 5-7 pmLocation: Somerville College (exact venue details shared with confirmed participants)Format:<ul><li>Introduction to the ZERO Institute and ECR Network by Dr Katharina Marquardt, Associate Professor of Materials</li></ul><ul><li>Keynote address by Dr Radhika Khosla, Associate Professor at the Smith School of Enterprise and Environment</li><li>Drinks reception and networking</li></ul>The list of participants and contact details will be shared with those present at the reception to facilitate further connections and network-building.Who will be attending? The event is open to ECRs at all stages engaged in energy transition research at the nexus of disciplines, including engineering, geography, policy, international development, and sustainable finance. The event will also give an opportunity to engage with professionals working on implementing energy transition policy, technology, and financing solutions.
