Souvenir 438 Space is proud to present INTERFACE, a group exhibition coinciding with SXSW, London Gallery Weekend and Hackney Art Week. To celebrate the diversity and creativity of London, the exhibition will be accompanied by a rich programme of events spanning the first week of June 2026. Souvenir 438 Space transforms into an immersive, event driven space, where contemporary art will be accompanied by various events focusing on music, connection and celebration of the vibrant artistic ecosystem we all participate in.

Reconstructing the idea of space outside a familiar timeline, Souvenir 438 Space collaborates with art historian and curator Niya Ruseva to champion artists producing genre-defining works. The exhibition explores processes of disruption and regeneration, drawing the viewer closer and inviting a rediscovery of how we interact with our surroundings. The artists collectively transform the space into a physical social feed. A network and dialogue of artistic exploration that asks us to be present and to participate.

This extends beyond the gallery walls: the public spaces surrounding S438S become part of INTERFACE itself, stretching the boundaries of artistic practice and leaving a lasting impact on the neighbourhood.

The programme of events opens on Tuesday 2nd June, we will have a performance piece by Anna Lani Idris who focuses on fluid practice, sequences & artistic research. The Private View of INTERFACE will be held on Thursday 4th June (6–9pm). CX Microdot Tattoo Sessions will be a part of the experience and will have a pop up station from 4th June until Saturday 6th June.

The artworks selected vary from abstract to performance, from digital to sculptural pieces, all interwoven in the brutalist space. In the evening, the gallery will welcome sound and visual collectives, transforming into a creative hub for idea exchange and disrupting the traditional norms of a ‘gallery’ per se.
