In the 4-part podcast play, <a href="https://2buproductions.org/tobias-and-syd/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tobias and Syd</a> launched on January 10th, we become increasingly suspicious (along with Syd) about who and what Tobias is. We see Syd’s early academic research and career as an anthropologist being interfered with by the mysterious, sometimes alluring character of Tobias (aka the tobacco industry). This online event will explore how the tobacco industry has tried to silence opposing voices of researchers (like Syd). Speakers will share recent examples of the tactics the tobacco industry uses to interfere with the truth, perpetuate social injustice and aggressively defend its market.
