A follow-up workshop to the webinar on ageing in the context of global migrations

<p>This one day workshop aims to address how older people fare in the changing global migratory context. Despite an established literature on ageing and migration, most of the existing research continues to focus on higher income countries and on international, cross-border migration. We therefore continue to lack information on how older people fare in the majority world, in contexts of internal and regional, South-South migration, which encompass most of the movements today. In this workshop, we aim to expand existing knowledge on ageing and migration by interrogating the relationship between ageing and migration in the context of ‘development’, broadly speaking.</p>
