Intermediate bookbinding 4 week evening class

Learn how to make a hardback book with matching slipcase over 4 evenings. Previous bookbinding experience recommended but not required.

Designed as a follow on course to our Introductory 5 week evening class, over the course of 4 weeks we will make a multi section case bound book with rounded spine and a Slipcase box made to hold the book.

Previous bookbinding experience is recommended but not required and we will be happy to help or answer any concerns over this via email. Please contact uEvery wednesday evening for 4 weeks we will meet to make stage by stage the book and then the box, you will be learning in a professional book bindery and print studio with an array of professional tools and machines for you to use. All tools and materials are provided and every night there will be plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and pastries provided too keep you going!

Our studio is not wheelchair accessible, there are toilets as part of the Yard facilities but not inside of our studio. For any special requirements or needs we ask you let us know and we will do our best to accomodate you.

There is plenty of free parking out front and we are a 10 minute walk from hastings station
