International Conference on Cryptography and High Performance Computing
Wed 21 September 2016, 13:00 – 16:00 BST
This conference aims to discuss some of the major issues involved in encryption, including with the usage of high performance computing to crack cryptography, and in law enforcement and industry challenges. It includes:
- Building and Implementing a Quantum Computing, Prof Alan Woodward.
- Next Generation Cryptography Methods, Prof Bill Buchanan. This will include a practical demonstration on how a quantum computer cracks the RSA and El Gamal methods, and provides a demonstration of new quantum robust methods.
