Interop Summit

Be a part of the free* inaugural Interop Summit 2017, where we learn a common language to connect our care systems. Two days of educational lectures by local and national experts, approved for 8 CPD points by Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians (RCP & RCGP).
The purpose of this summit is to share knowledge and experience of healthcare interoperability to give participants a greater understanding of what it means and how it can be achieved. Our aim is to develop a common understanding and ‘language’ for talking about interoperability to unlock the benefits of information sharing in terms of clinical safety, population health and precision medicine.

PLEASE NOTE: While we will make every effort to ensure all attendees are accommodated in the main hall, due to the overwhelming popularity of this event, holders of tickets sold on or after 14 February 2017 may not have full access to this area. An adjacent 'overspill area' will be used in this eventuality. The organisers reserve the right to offer one place to each commercial vendor organisation for this summit. Topics covered: In line with the learning needs and content requirements submitted via the expression of interest survey, sessions will look at consent models, Information Governance, APIs, FHIR, SNOMED-CT, patient and public engagement and much more.
