INTEROPen presents: One London Hackathon

INTEROPen

This FREE* event will provide an opportunity for members of the INTEROPen community to learn from the recent successes of the One London LHCRE and help 'hack' towards resolving outstanding challenges facing this and other LCHRE areas - testing the scalability of solutions that will connect care providers across health and social care. 
On the day of the hackathon, we will be focusing on solutions to each of the following three challenges:

The bidirectional sharing of information from PHR
</LI>
<LI>
The interconnectivity of the National Record Locator
</LI>
<LI>
Enabling connectivity with other LHCRE areas (namely Yorkshire and Humberside)
</LI>
</UL>
Hackathon participants will have the day to ‘hack’ and solve both architectural and technological connectivity hurdles, with the opportunity to produce first of type connections that we will seek to scale for the pan-London LHCRE programme. We will be using <A HREF="https://www.interopen.org/careconnect-guidance-for-developers-and-provider-organisations/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CareConnect FHIR</A> resources curated by the INTEROPen community. These resources make it possible for us to further standardise and share data through APIs, which will support this development and deployment. London Chief Clinical Information Officers will be on hand to help vendors to sense-check examples for real-world use.
In keeping with INTEROPen values, vendors from across the community are invited to attend both planning WebExes and the hackathon event. Information will be shared through these WebExes and on the Ryver collaboration platform to set out the scope and agenda for the hackathon, and to provide participants with the information to commence their architectural plans.

<H2>Who should attend:</H2>
Sign up for the whole hackathon (08:30 - 19:00) if you are a Software Engineer, Developer, Product Support Analyst, Implementation Consultant, Interface Manager, Product Owner, or a techie with a heart full of FHIR.
Sign up for the post-hack presentations and drinks reception (16:00 - 18:30) if you are a CIO, CCIO, CEO, CMIO, Digital Transformation Lead, IT Manager, LHCRE/GDE Lead, or care professional with an interest in health informatics.

H = help curate the UK's Care Connect FHIR profiles and API operations A = accelerate product development and roadmaps C = connect people to inspire, learn and jointly explore potential use cases K = knuckle down and write code or configure software to test these new interfaces
