Intimacy: Sharing

An informal space for artists working with sound to share work and ideas.

Open to artists of all abilities who work with sound as part of their art practice! Intimacy is an informal space to commune and share ideas, research and work in order to receive constructive feedback.

Please fill in the form when you RSVP if you want to share something on the day - there will be time for around 4-6 artists. You do not have to share anything, you can just be part of the discussions. The format of the sharing/crit/forum will roughly follow this structure: a 5-10 minute presentation followed by 10 minutes of feedback/discussion.

There will be a PA system and projector if you would like to play any sound or share any images/text/video etc. There will also be refreshments available from the cafe.

TACO! is an non for profit artist-led organisation supporting research, production, and exchange in Thamesmead and SE London. It is a 10 minute walk from Abbey Wood station accessible by the Elizabeth Line, Thameslink and Southeastern. TACO! is an accessible ground floor space.

Intimacy is an ongoing broadcast and curatorial project by Elliot Buchanan. It is a common ground for artists working with sound to critically engage with radio and a platform for community building, collective listening and support across a broad range of sound-centred practices.
