Overview

Understand the basics behind 3D modelling software and design.

This is a small group workshop and is devoted to our new Bambu 3D printer.

This booking is for 19th February 2026 session and is to get you started on a 3D modelling journey using Tinkercad and BambuLab Slicer software. You will make a small 3D printed button which, depending on available time, may be printed on the evening to take away or printed for collection later.

This session is £12 per person, which includes all teaching, filament and material costs.

Any questions? Email fablab@library.gg or find out more about the Fab Lab here. Keep a lookout on our social media and website for more Fab Lab sessions on Tuesday or Thursday evenings.

Suitable for people aged 13 years and above. By booking this session you agree to take full responsibility for the safety of each child in the booking whilst attending and using the machines in the Fab Lab.

If you cannot attend a workshop, please let us know as we are running a waiting list and, if we can resell your ticket, we will refund you (minus the Eventbrite fee). If we cannot resell your ticket then no refund will be issued. If you are unable to attend then please notify us as soon as possible and then we can 'release your ticket'.

Late Arrival - Whilst it is possible to arrive more than 15 minutes late, by this time, we are getting into the content of the workshop and it's not possible to go back over what we have already covered.
