 Intro to 3d Technologies

The Sikh Museum Initiative (SMI) is the premier organisation in the UK which uncovers Sikh relics and artefacts. We undertake lectures, exhibitions and extensive fieldwork to bring out the rich history between the Sikhs and the British. We are unique in preserving heritage through 3d modelling, augmented reality and other new technologies.

As part of our offer to create the world's first Sikh online museum. We will be offering a number of free sessions which will aid in people's understanding of how new technologies can preserve heritage and objects. 
Every wondered what a 3d printer can do? What is virtual reality? How can i use augmented reality?
This session is primarily aimed at younger audiences who want to look at developing their skills in new technlogies. We will showcase our wonderful projects we are working on and how new technologies will shape the future.
Spaces are limited and this session will be followed by more advanced sessions.
