CrowdFundLeicester is a new community crowdfunding initiative which gives people the opportunity to pitch their ideas, big and small, for projects which will make Leicester an even better place to live, work, study and visit.
From community gardens and street murals to festivals and sports facilities, Leicester has a new way to support local projects. CrowdFundLeicester is the City Mayor’s initiative which seeks to engage communities to work collectively to make innovative project ideas a practical reality.  
The City Mayor is looking to support ideas by providing areas of land to deliver the proposal. The Community Engagement Fund will also allow the City Mayor to make pledges of up to £10,000 to back ideas which are supported by the crowd.
