An introduction to 3D Capture WorkshopIn this two hour session, we will look in the exciting world of how we can collect 3D scans of real-life objects to get a digital 3D object.You will learn:<ul><li>look at how we can collect 3D scans of real-life objects to get a digital 3D object</li><li>demonstrate how 3D capture works, including some of the different ways of capturing an object</li><li>explore what 3D scanning can be useful for along with some hardware and software you can use</li></ul>T﻿his session is aimed at those with no prior experience or knowledge of 3D scanningSpeakersSam Hazeldine, Creative Technologist, Creativity Lab, LibraryH﻿ousekeepingLight r﻿efreshments will be provided on event arrival. Please let us know of any dietary requirements. Please be aware that all 3D scanners have flashing lights used during calibration and scanning of objects could trigger seizures in photosensitive individuals. If you feel this may affect you please let us know prior to the session.T﻿his event is free of charge
