Introduction to artisan bread making

At bread for life we believe that bread and food is at its tastiest and healthiest when it is made with fresh ingredients using time honoured methods. It is our desire as bread makers and cooks to ensure that the making and eating of fresh, strong bread and wholesome, delicious homemade food reaches as many people as possible, especially our local community, through workshops, collaborations, demonstrations, festivals and events.

What you'll learn
Our basic introduction to bread making experience days cover the very basics of bread making using locally milled flours and natural ingredients. You will learn how to create that perfect gluten window to make your own beautiful bread at home with helpful tips and guidance throughout your afternoon.You will also get the oppotunity to mill your own wholegrain spelt flour which you will use and bake with.
We will cover wholegrain flours and the various white flours as well as which breads are more suited to specific flour grains. 
Everything will be provided throughout your afternoon including all of the ingredients, aprons, bowls, recipes, materials and equipment. 
 What you will take home
Each person takes home a goody bag with two loaves of freshly baked handmade breads, all of the recipes, a jar of our own 4 year old Leamington Spa sourdough starter and new skills to continue using at home! 
What you'll eat You will be given a light lunch of homemade dips, sourdough breads and sharing plates of antipasti along with afternoon tea and homemade cake. 
Food intolerances are tailored and catered for at your experience. Please do let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
