Start your self-publishing eBook journey and learn how to get your writing in the hands of more readers! 

<p>More and more people are turning to eBooks as a means to self-publish their work and get their writing into the hands of more readers, but how exactly do you go about setting it up? </p><p>Join Alison Mott for an introduction to eBooks including how to format your writing for uploading as an ebook to Amazon and digital platforms! </p><p>Not a tech-whizz? Don't worry! This session is suitable for those who can use word processing programs on both PC and Macbook. </p><h3>By the end of the session, you will...</h3><ul><li>Learn how to create an eBook from a pre-existing word document, including formatting for poetry, adding photographs and tables</li><li>Understand the process involved with uploading to Amazon and other digital sites </li></ul><h3>About Alison Mott</h3><p>Alison Mott is a writer, freelance copywriter and writing coach, accredited through the Arvon Foundation and the National Association of Writers in Education. She writes memoir, historical fiction and non-fiction, childrens’ fiction and educational materials for adults and schools.  </p><p>Alison has many years’ experience leading creative activities in the community and publishes her own and other people’s work under the name Timepiece Press. She has a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and is a sessional creative writing tutor at Loughborough University.</p><h3>Access </h3><p>This workshop will be delivered online via Zoom. Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing service you can use to virtually meet with others - either by video or audio-only or both. A user manual containing access instructions and a link will be sent out to you before the workshop. You will need an internet connection, and a computer with either a built in camera or webcam, and a built-in microphone/speaker.</p><h3>Book your place</h3><p>Tickets cost £16 for NWS Members and £18 for general admission.
