    Introduction to Financial Management

    The aim of this session is to give staff, volunteers and trustees an understanding of financial management systems and key steps to ensure healthy finances for VCSE organisations.


    Learning outcomes
    By the end of this session, learners should be able to:

    • Understand the purpose of financial management
    • Understand ‘good’ financial management
    • Explain how to record income / expenditure in a cashbook
    • Understand how to reconcile bank statements against a cashbook
    • Understand petty cash systems
    • Identify how Online Accounting can save time and add value.


    How will it be delivered?
    This training will be delivered online via Zoom.

    Once attendees have booked via Eventbrite, they will be sent the Zoom link in their registration confirmation email and the day before the training.
