Introduction to Google Earth Engine lesson - part of the summer school held by the Amsterdam Science Park Study Group

About this event

This interactive workshop will introduce you to the multi-petabyte searchable catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets available through Google Earth Engine. It is also a tool for analyzing geospatial information. The lesson will also include sections on data analysis and plotting. Exercises are aimed at masters and PhD students, postdocs and other researchers at the University of Amsterdam who have basic programming skills.

This small community of computational biologists aims to promote skill sharing and collaboration through the organisation of interactive workshops. It acts as the main local hub to set-up Software and Data Carpentry workshops (official workshops and Carpentry-style). All are welcome to this study group, regardless of scientific research area, affiliation or training level.
