About this event

Join us at Worcester Community Gardens for a 1.5-hour workshop designed to teach adults the essential skills for growing herbs. Learn about different types of herbs, their unique care needs, and how to grow them from seeds, cuttings, or division. Whether you’re looking to add fresh flavours to your cooking or simply enjoy the beauty of growing your own herbs, this workshop will give you the confidence to succeed.

In this practical, interactive session, you will learn about different types of herbs, and take part in sowing, dividing, and creating your own herb plants to take home. Get tips on choosing the best locations for your herbs and how to care for them throughout the seasons. Learn how to maintain healthy, thriving herbs, from watering to pruning, ensuring they flourish in your garden. No prior gardening experience required, and all materials are provided including seeds, pots, cuttings, and soil.

Participants will leave with their own propagated herbs to nurture at home. Please bring a bag / box to transport your herb plants home.

There is a nominal fee of £10 per person. Please feel free to bring your own lunch if desired. The Community Garden is located at W3W:///nature.torch.grant

Booking for this event opens on 13 May 2025 and tickets are limited to 8.
