During this 4 hour session students will Learn how to use the machine and its functions.

During this 4 hour session, students will learn how to thread the machine. Learn how to use the machine and its functions and complete four different seams:<ul><li>Plain seam</li><li>French seam</li><li>Flat-fell seam</li><li>Lapped seam</li><li>Make a simple item such as a cushion cover or fabric tote bag.</li></ul>The course is for adult learners (+18) with limited or no previous experience. Students could then enroll on the Beginners Clothed Making course. You will have the use of all equipment in the workroom including: large tables, sewing machines, over-lockers, irons &amp; metal rulers. Things needed on the day to bring along: Fabric scissors Tape measure Pins Stitch unpicker Tailors chalk or marker Pencil Hand sewing needles. Dates:Saturday 31 January and 28 February 2026, 10:00 am - 3:30 pm The course fee is £55 for one session.
