About this event

In this workshop you will learn how to prepare, etch, and print a zinc plate etching. We start the workshop by looking at the different imagery achievable with passive electro etching. You will then be guided step -by-step through the process of preparing your very own zinc electro-etching plate. We will etch the plates and you will have the chance to print on a tiny etching press, learning the process of inking and printing the plate. The result will be small edition of handmade original prints for you to take home! This is an engaging and intense workshop, yet no prior experience in printmaking is required. It is led by artist and printmaker Hannah Feuerstein (@wilma.steinhagen)
