Introduction to Printmaking

UHI Argyll offers further and higher education in one of the most geographically fragmented areas of Scotland. From Tobermory in the north to Campbeltown in the south and Helensburgh in the east, our 10 Centres provide students with support, high-speed internet access and video conferencing facilities.

This exciting evening course will let you explore three printmaking techniques: lino printing, collography and screen printing.

Argyll College UHI, CERC Skills Centre

You’ll be guided by our experienced lecturer and learn in a relaxed environment. This course is suitable for absolute beginners. You’ll be taught how to safely use a variety of inks and tools to explore pattern, design, colour and registration through each printmaking process.We’ll provide all materials to help you create a range of fine art prints and a series of gift cards.At the end of the course, you will have successfully completed 1 SQA level 5 unitCost: £176 (you may be eligible for a <a href="https://www.argyll.uhi.ac.uk/t4-media/one-web/argyll/study-with-us/fees-and-funding/Argyll-College-UHI-Fees-and-Funding.pdf" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">fee waiver</a>)If you wish to use a fee waiver to pay for this course, please choose the correct ticket type.
