This course is for absolute beginners with no prior programming experience. You will be introduced to the fundamentals of Python, a popular and easy-to-learn language. You will learn how to give instructions to a computer to perform simple tasks.

Prerequisites

None—this is designed for those starting from scratch. You will need a Google account to use Colab. The learning materials can be found here, if you wish to review them before the session.

• How to read, write and run your own simple Python code.

• How to use " notebooks" to run commands in your web browser.

• How to identify and fix errors in your programs.
