Introduction to Python: Part 2

This course builds upon the Introduction to Python: Part 1 course and delves deeper into working with advanced data structures, write functions, explore modules, and how to handle errors and exceptions. Get ready to take your Python skills to the next level!

Audience Level: Intermediate

This course is open to staff and students at the University of Bristol. Participants should have a good understanding of the basics of Python, at least as far as taught in the Introduction to Python part 1 course.

Action required before the session:

For the purpose of this course we will be using a free tool called JupyterLab which provides you with a local editor and Python terminal in your web browser. Set up instructions can be found here – we would strongly recommend that you follow the installation instructions prior to this course as time will be limited during the session.
